One of our under-12 football teams, the Chargers, is knocking in record numbers of goals this season and as a result has become a bit of a favourite with local media.

On 14 June, Ōtaki Today did an article on the team, headlining it ‘U12 football team charges through comp’.

On 23 June, Kāpiti News headlined their article ‘Chargers finish their run in style’.

And on 30 June, the Ōtaki Mail wrote ‘Ōtaki’s junior football … in good hands’.
