Merry Christmas / Meri Kirihimete, everyone. 2021 done and dusted already! It’s been a big year for the club and one of the most successful years for some time.
Membership rose from 165 to 204, revenue was up 100% and we gained the services of experienced and popular senior coaches in all three codes (football, squash and tennis). We also scored a massive $120,000 grant to put floodlights around our courts.
And, of course, we had heaps of success on the football fields and squash and tennis courts at all levels.
All the indications are that next year should see similar upwards trends in growth and participation for our club. It’s a great time to be part of such an awesome sporting community.
Here are the draft minutes from the club’s AGM (held Sunday 19 December, 2021), where you can read all about the club’s sporting and administrative activities this year.
And here are our financial results for 2021. (Note this is an Excel document.) Big thanks to our hard-working treasurer, Lilian Bramley, for all the detail in this report.
