Ōtaki Kāeaea opened their 2024 Capital 2 football season with a 1-0 win over the Tawa Twisters on Sunday at Haruātai Park. 🎖⚽️![]()

Hayley Shaw-Law scored the winning goal and was awarded the team's MVP three points for the day. Nicolette Butler was awarded two MVP points and Sarita Fulford one.![]()

As well as the winning goal, the team came close on several other occasions, with about 10 shots close to goal, including a couple coming off the posts. ![]()
