Ōtaki Kāeaea opened their 2024 Capital 2 football season with a 1-0 win over the Tawa Twisters on Sunday at Haruātai Park. 🎖⚽️Hayley Shaw-Law scored the winning goal and was awarded the team's MVP three points for the day. Nicolette Butler was awarded two MVP points and Sarita Fulford one.As well as the winning goal, the team came close on several other occasions, with about 10 shots close to goal, including a couple coming off the posts.
